Errr... when I was poking at my journal customization, I noticed that this community appeared in the lists of "Work as user:"... that is, apparently I can modify this community. Howzzat? If I managed to get to be a moderator I think that must have been a mistake on someone's part. Buh? Current Mood: confused
unspecial glamourbombing report
Both last weekend when I was in Canada and the weekend before when I was at Kallisticon
, I left glamourbombs in the cars of those whose convertible tops were down, or who had carelessly left windows open... you see what you get!
Said glamourbombs were printed pretty pictures with appropriate text and websites on one side, and the other being calendar pages from a Canadian Geographic calendar I had been given as a lame Christmas present by some of the fiance's relatives... I'll put up some example scans later or when I get home.
"It is about being ready to do that sometimes quite small thing just when it is needed. A pinch of fairy dust in just the right place at just the right time works wonders - but big clouds of fairy dust just makes everyone sneeze."
~The Faeries' Oracle
Not that this is thrilling.. but it is what I did.. today I stopped at my local Psychic Eye
bookstore, and dropped off a few glamourbomb rocks (as mentioned in a previous post). One was placed in the "Holy Blessing Water" dish you're supposed to toss coins into as you enter. Another was put into one of the boxes they have on the table near the tarot cards. Another in among the quartz crystals, and one more in with the tumbled stones. The last... I went to the "Faerie Tradition" books section, and the only book left was a copy of Earth Light
by R.J. Stewart. This was one I didn't own, so clearly it was for me ^_^ and I left the last stone in its place. Looking back on it this wasn't too smart - the manager/owner looking type person saw me leafing through the book and was the person who sold it to me when I was ready to leave, so there was probably enough evidence to connect all the stones to me, especially the one I left on the bookshelf... but oh well! I hope they don't take inventory or whatever every night.. so they might sit there undiscovered for a little while, and break the association between myself and the stones I left.
(I apologize for the crosspost if any of you are on more than one community.)
These are just some pics of the pretty stones I decorated last week.. I have yet to leave them anywhere, heh. ( Read more...Collapse )

new here!! :) i live in a rather rural area in the southern united states...very lovely here, but, unfortunately, populated mostly by mundane and irritating fundies. i've been dying to do some glamour-bombing for ages now and hopefully this will help inspire me to get off my lazy butt and have at it. ;) Current Mood: mischievous

while dyeing easter eggs last night. it came to my attention that i had accidentally dyed an unboiled egg. eep. but the horrific part is that it turned out beautifully. wonderfully. so i thought it was a shame to leave it alone. so i finished it. we were using the wonderfully messy sparkle kits. (also known as covering the egg in glitter). well being quite unsure what do with a beautifully dyed and glittered raw egg. i decided there were some super awful children in my apartment complex most deserving of finding this egg. (wake me up at 7am jumping off my staircase wont you) so i dashed off a quick sidewalk chalk note about gifts from the faeries being wonderful but slippery early early 4am and carefully hid the beautiful egg underneath the bush right beside the door of said awful child.
yes i did know that my apartment manager holds an egg hunt. and yes i am quite certain that awful child surely found it.
well. the faeries are notoriously mischievous. and what could be more mischievous than a stunningly beautiful raw egg.
bratty. yes. but i liked it.
